Introduction :
Ritu has been the most talented designer because of her popular and unique style and modernised work. And her this quality has made her so very vastly popular and demanded by the Indian as well as the hollywood film indutry. And she has contributed tremendously well for the Bollywood.
Education :
(i)Ritu completed her graduation from Delhi University in 1987
(ii) And due to the lack of choice in Delhi at that time, she started to design her own outfits. This provoked Delhi University to lead her doing so for her friends and that is where from she entered the business.
(iii) In 1988 she was enrolled the first batch of 25 students chosen from a large number of applicants from all over the world, in National Institute of Fashion, Affiliated to F.I.T, New York.
Achievements :
(i) The line created by her at the time of her graduation was launched in her studio ‘Lavanya’ in Dec 1990.
(ii) She achieved unexpected success with this launch. And thus she followed further.
(iii) She introduced ‘Sanskriti’ in 1995, which expressed India’s uncomparable cultural heritage.

(i)The fashion diva Ritu recently completed her book ‘Firefly: a fairy tale’ and this has been released by none other than the heart throbing star Akshay Kumar in Delhi.
And for your knowledge the scope of the book is beyond fashion. Since it covers topics like history, women and their beauty. It deals with her personal experience of her business tours.

how do one get internship under fashion designer

hi mam,
i am shabana sheikh & i also did fashion designing course from my city before last year. i feel so proude to be a fashion designer but mam i have some difficulty that my institute mam said me you never do any thing in small city go to the big city like banglore bombay & delhi.
so that i never dicide what i do with my course.
please suggest me how i do my best in small city , how i start my work here .
